The other day I was reading a blog post about what game got you hooked on videogames, and after thinking about that, I started to think about why I like anime and which series really got me into it.
The first anime i remember watching is Dragon Ball, but I didn’t like any of the other anime that was airing at the time.
I think the anime that really got me into the whole anime world was Digimon (and maybe Pokemon). The idea of a world where you can fight alongside a monster, make him stronger and evolve was fascinating for me. After watching Digimon I was always looking for new amazing story’s and the western culture just couldn’t offer that.

I don’t remember a specific anime that got me hooked. I was already watching anime since I can remember, mainly because my dad and many family members watch them.

Mine was Naruto. I started with Naruto and really evolved into an anime-fanatic. Even going back and watching Naruto now…I love it.
